Nakano Broadway is fast catching up to Akihabara as the cosplay & comic capital of Tokyo, and there’s a great grill-at-your-table restaurant for refuelling when you’ve shopped ’til you dropped.
Just a short hop from Shinjuku station, the shops at Nakano Broadway are an otaku’s dream: comics (including fanfic), character figures, vintage toys, cosplay costumes & accessories, obscure hobby stores and all kinds of weird gift items are all under one roof, right next to the station.
