Enjoy a bowl of matcha tea and a traditional tea ceremony sweet in the island pavilion

This garden used to be the shogun’s duck hunting grounds, but now it’s an enormous stroll garden that’s beautiful in every season. Famous for its plum orchard, mid-late Feb) and cosmos (mid-late Sep) cherry blossoms, (late-Mar to early Apr), wisteriapeonies (late Apr to early May), & autumn leaves (mid-late Nov).
